Thalassocnus yaucensis

Taxonomy
Thalassocnus yaucensis was named by Muizon et al. (2004). Its type specimen is MUSM 37, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is East Yauca, which is in a Zanclean marine horizon in the Pisco Formation of Peru.
