Tarimathyris discusella
Taxonomy
Spirigerella discusella was named by Xu and Grant (1994). Its type specimen is USNM 456175, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Liangfenya, Beifengjing Section, Changxing Fm, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
It was recombined as Araxathyris discusella by Shen et al. (2004); it was recombined as Tarimathyris discusella by Chen and Shi (2006).
