Dimetrodon giganhomogenes
Taxonomy
Dimetrodon gigashomogenes was named by Case (1907). Its type specimen is FMNH 112, a set of postcrania (almost complete vertebral column plus pelvic elements), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coffee Creek, 34 (Arroyo Formation), which is in a Kungurian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Arroyo Formation of Texas.
