Anatalavis rex
Taxonomy
Telmatornis rex was named by Shufeldt (1915). Its type specimen is YPM 902, a limb element (distal end of right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cream Ridge Marl Company pit (Hornerstown Fm.), which is in a Maastrichtian marginal marine marl in the Hornerstown Formation of New Jersey.
It was recombined as Anatalavis rex by Olson and Parris (1987).
