Transcaucasathyris minor

Taxonomy
Araxathyris minor was named by Grunt (1965) [As Araxathyris araxensis minor]. Its type specimen is PIN 2073/621, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dorasham 2, Dzhulfites beds, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Ali Bashi Formation of Azerbaijan.

It was recombined as Araxathyris araxensis minor by Yousefirad et al. (2013); it was recombined as Transcaucasathyris minor by Shen et al. (2004), Garbelli and Angiolini (2014), Ghaderi et al. (2015).
