Icaronycteris menui
Taxonomy
Icaronycteris menui was named by Russell et al. (1973) [Originally proposed as Icaronycteris? menui]. Its type specimen is MNHN Mu6523, a tooth (Right M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V6167, Mutigny quarry, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Lignites de Soissonais Formation of France.
