Tambachia trogallas

Taxonomy
Tambachia trogallas was named by Sumida et al. (1998). Its type specimen is MNG 7722, a partial skeleton (representing all major regions except the presacral vertebral column), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bromacker Quarry (upper level of Tambach sandstone), which is in an Artinskian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Tambach Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Tambachia.
