Taxonomy
Amnifleckia splendida was named by Huang et al. (2006). Its type specimen is NIGPAS 133712, a hindwing (Male Hindwing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
