Taxonomy
Liadothemis dubia was named by Handlirsch (1939). It is an impression. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany. It is the type species of Dialothemis.
It was recombined as Dialothemis dubia by Cowley (1942), Nel et al. (1993).
