Hypsothemis jurassica

Taxonomy
Hypsothemis jurassica was named by Pritykina (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 2239/13, an exoskeleton (Male with three wings and Thorax), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2239), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Hypsothemis.
