Taxonomy
Orthophlebia capillata was named by Whalley (1985). Its type specimen is BMNH In 53924, an exoskeleton (wings & thorax), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Flatstones, Stonebarrow, Charmouth (Jackson collection), which is in an Obtusum marine mudstone in the United Kingdom.
