Woottonia phalerata
Taxonomy
Woottonia phalerata was named by Popov and Shcherbakov (1991). Its type specimen is PIN 1275/1, an exoskeleton (well preserved), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kenderlyk, Akkolka River (PIN collection 1275), which is in a Norian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Tologoi Formation of Kazakhstan.
