Taxonomy
Parapermula sibirica was named by Sharov (1961). Its type specimen is PIN 966/83, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kaltan, outcrop 1300 (PIN collection 966), which is in a Roadian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Mitina Formation of the Russian Federation.
