Taxonomy
Liomopterella parakitiakensis was named by Aristov (2005). Its type specimen is PIN 1631/408, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Upper Syr'yaga coalfield, borehole VSK-607, depth 1015.5 m, which is in a Kungurian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
