Ptychomphalina banschangensis

Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria (Ptychomphalina) banschangensis was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17215, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of pt 2263, ESE of Chhidru, Bellerophon bed, Salt Range, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Ptychomphalina banschangensis by Clapham (2015).
