Prochelidella portezuelae
Taxonomy
Prochelidella portezuelae was named by de la Fuente (2003). Its type specimen is MCF-PVPH- 161, a set of postcrania (Anterior margin of the carapace and nearly complete plastron, left atlantal arch, and other five cervical vertebrae (third or fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sierra del Portezuelo (non-specified), which is in a Turonian/Coniacian terrestrial horizon in the Portezuelo Formation of Argentina.
