Bathygerus bellus

Taxonomy
Cistelites bellus was named by Geinitz (1894). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany.

It was recombined as Bathygerus bellus by Handlirsch (1906); it was recombined as Hydrobiites bellus by Ponomarenko (1985).
