Orodus micropterygius
Taxonomy
Orodus micropterygius was named by Zangerl (1981). Its type specimen is FMNH PF8553, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Hesler Quarry, Mecca Quarry shale, which is in a Moscovian marine shale in the Linton Formation of Indiana.
