Taxonomy
Parvifuzia peregrina was named by Wei et al. (2012). Its type specimen is CNU-BLA-NN-2011055, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2011 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Jiulongshan Formation of China.
