Racemonocolpites racematus
Taxonomy
Monocolpites racematus was named by Van der Hammen (1954). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-49-578 (Catatumbo). Loc: 115.3X578 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. It is the type species of Racemonocolpites.
It was recombined as Racemonocolpites racematus by Van der Hammen (1954), González-Guzmán (1967).
