Subcyclotosaurus brookvalensis
Taxonomy
Subcyclotosaurus brookvalensis was named by Watson (1958). Its type specimen is AM F47499, a partial skull (Mould of skull roof), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Beacon Hill Quarry (AM collection), which is in an Anisian lacustrine - small shale in the Hawkesbury Sandstone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Subcyclotosaurus.
It was recombined as Parotosaurus brookvalensis by Welles and Cosgriff (1965); it was considered a nomen dubium by Schoch and Milner (2000).
