Adocus planus
Taxonomy
Shineusemys plana was named by Sukhanov and Narmandakh (2006). Its type specimen is PIN 4636-1, a partial shell (plastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shine Us Khuduk non-specific, which is in a Cenomanian/Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Baynshire Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Adocus planus by Syromyatnikova et al. (2012), Syromyatnikova et al. (2013), Syromyatnikova and Danilov (2013), Danilov et al. (2014).
