Taxonomy
Bellerophon konincki was named by Weir (1931) [= Bellerophon tangentialis sensu de Koninck 1883 p. 144 pl. 42 f. 14-18]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Visé, which is in a Visean carbonate limestone in the Calcaire de Seilles Formation of Belgium.
