Taxonomy
Kiritchkovia was named by Doweld (2013) [Nomen novum for later illegitimate homonym Sibiriella Fajzulina non Siberiella Radczenko 1956 nec Siberiella Korde 1958 ]. Its type is Sibiriella aksarinii. It was considered monophyletic by Doweld (2013).

It was assigned to Karkeniales by Doweld (2013).

Synonyms
  • Sibiriella was named by Kiritchkova and Kostina (2005) [Illegitimate later homonym of Siberiella Radczenko 1956 nec Siberiella Korde 1958 nec Sibiriella Fajzulina 1981]. Its type is Sibiriella aksarinii. It was considered monophyletic by Doweld (2013).

    It was replaced with Kiritchkovia by Doweld (2013).
