Taxonomy
Kiritchkovia aksarinii was named by Doweld (2013). Its type specimen is 441/905, Yuzhno- Chasel’skaja square, borehole 15 (3590–3605 m), Western Siberia, Russian Federation; Lower Jurassic (Toar = Togurian suite), a leaf, and it is an impression.

Synonyms
  • Sibiriella aksarinii was named by Kiritchkova and Kostina (2005). Its type specimen is 441/905 (t. xlvi, fig. 1) (VNIGRI, St.-Petersburg). Yuzhno- Chasel’skaja square, borehole 15 (3590–3605 m), Western Siberia, Russian Federation; Lower Jurassic (Toar = Togurian suite), a leaf, and it is an impression. It is the type species of Kiritchkovia, Sibiriella.

    It was replaced with Kiritchkovia aksarinii by Doweld (2013).
