Longapertites andreisii
Taxonomy
Longapertites andreisii was named by Archangelsky (1973). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype: p.m. 966; coord. 30.2/104. Stored at Museo de La Plata, Paleobotanical division., a microspore. Its type locality is Cerro Bororó, which is in a Danian terrestrial horizon in Argentina.

S. Archangelsky 1973 | Grano monocolpado de contorno ecuatorial ovalado. Colpo mayor que la mitad de la circunferencia. Exina hasta 3.5 µ de espesor, tectada. Capa basal más delgada que el tectum; columelas desde isodiamétricas a fusionadas, formando muros irregulares, angostos y sinuosos, que no forman retículo; en el lado opuesto a los colpos las columelas son más gruesas y están más espaciadas; tectum grueso, con micropuntuaciones a perforado cerca de los colpos. |
