Pachypleurites nodosus

Taxonomy
Pachypleurites nodosus was named by Haupt (1952). Its type specimen is MLU Halle-Wittenberg 481384, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Pochwerksgrund near Goldlauter (MLU Halle-Wittenberg coll), which is in an Asselian fluvial-lacustrine shale in the Goldlauter Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Pachypleurites.
