Taxonomy
Terebratulites angustus was named by Schlotheim (1820).

It was recombined as Waldheimia (Aulacothyris) angusta by Bittner (1890); it was recombined as Aulacothyris angusta by Xu (1978); it was recombined as Silesiathyris angusta by Urosevic et al. (1992).
