Taxonomy
Omanodon minor was named by Gheerbrant et al. (1993). Its type specimen is TQ 39, a tooth (m2?), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taqah, which is in an Oligocene coastal marl in the Ashawq Formation of Oman.
