Williams 1962 | Elongately semi-oval Bilobia, two-thirds as long as wide and strongly concavo-convex with the pedicle valve just over one-half as deep as long; ornamentation differentially parvicostellate with a sublateral pair of costae especially conspicuous, concentric lamellae excessively developed anteriorly; ventral muscle-scar about one-third as long as the pedicle valve and nearly four-fifths as long as wide; lophophore platform not well known, but undoubtedly elongately bilobed with a median septum lying in the cleft, and commonly with rounded frontal margins. |
