Epirigenys lokonensis

Taxonomy
Epirigenys lokonensis was named by Lihoreau et al. (2015). Its type specimen is KNM-LH 30375 , a mandible (left hemi mandible with P/3-M/2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lokone Hills 1/2, which is in an Oligocene fluvial sandstone in the Lokone Sandstone Formation of Kenya. It is the type species of Epirigenys.
