Taxonomy
Palmicellaria microporoides was named by Brown (1958). Its type specimen is MGSV, 53053 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glenelg Group (Myaring Beds), which is in a Miocene/Oligocene marine marl in Australia.
