Taxonomy
Cranosina rubeni was named by Di Martino and Taylor (2014). Its type specimen is NHMUK PI BZ 6857 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TF522 Sangkulirang, which is in a Serravallian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in Indonesia.
