Taxonomy
Permopectina sibirica was named by Aristov (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 505/46, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tesh locality, ditch 6 (PIN collection 505), which is in a Roadian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Usyatka Formation of the Russian Federation.
