Argillochelys africana

Taxonomy
Argillochelys africana was named by Tong and Hirayama (2008) [Muséum d’Histoire naturelle de Lyon]. Its type specimen is MNHL 20-268373, a skull (nearly complete skull with incomplete lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4, Ypresian, which is in a Ypresian marine phosphorite in Morocco.
