Thambetochen xanion
Taxonomy
Thambetochen xanion was named by Olson and James (1991). Its type specimen is USNM 389293, a partial skeleton ( rostrum), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barbers Point, Oahu, which is in a Pleistocene reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Waimanalo Formation of Hawaii.
