Allalmeia atalaensis
Taxonomy
Allalmeia atalaensis was named by Rusconi (1946). Its type specimen is MCNAM-PV 507, a partial skeleton (palate and lower jaw with most of the teeth (poorly preserved) and parts of the associated skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Divisadero Largo, which is in a Divisaderan terrestrial horizon in the Divisadero Largo Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Allalmeia.
