Aloposaurus tenuis
Taxonomy
Aloposauroides tenuis was named by Brink and Kitching (1953). Its type specimen is BP/1/256, a skull (Flattened and crushed skull with lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Saint Olives, which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian terrestrial horizon in South Africa. It is the type species of Aloposauroides.
It was recombined as Aloposaurus tenuis by Sigogneau-Russell (1989).
