Taxonomy
Plaziatia parasigmapertura was named by Dolin and Lozouet (2004). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bezoye "Ruisseau", St-Paul-les-Dax, which is in a Chattian coastal sandstone in the Marnes de Saint-Etienne-d’Orthe Formation of France.
