Umenopterix burkhardi
Taxonomy
Ponopterix burkhardi was named by Nel et al. (2014). Its type specimen is WDC-CCFB-8(B045), an exoskeleton (disarticulated), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Crato (WDC collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
It was recombined as Umenopterix burkhardi by Lee (2016), Luo et al. (2022).
