Taxonomy
Entomolestes westgatei was named by Murphey and Kelly (2017). Its type specimen is UCM 95687, a mandible (left dentary with p4-m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Donna's Locality, which is in an Uintan terrestrial claystone in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
