Taxonomy
Glaucochelone lonzeensis was named by Dollo (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lonzée, Namur, which is in a Coniacian/Santonian marine siliciclastic in the Glauconie de Lonzée Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Glaucochelone.
