Grimmenodon aureum

Taxonomy
Grimmenodon aureum was named by Stumpf et al. (2017). Its type specimen is GG 437, a mandible (prearticular bone), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grimmen clay pit (EMAU collection, exaratum subzone), which is in a Falciferum marine shale in Germany. It is the type species of Grimmenodon.
