Protorophus hispanicus
Taxonomy
Protorophus hispanicus was named by Zamora and Smith (2010). Its type specimen is MPZ2009/1233a,b, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Purujosa Section 3. Level 10. Moncayo Natural Park, which is in a Menevian offshore mudstone in the Murero Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Protorophus.
