Vitirallus watlingi (Viti Levu rail)

Taxonomy
Vitirallus watlingi was named by Worthy (2004). Its type specimen is MNZ S37543, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Qara-ni-vokai, Viti Levu, which is in a Pleistocene cave claystone in Fiji. It is the type species of Vitirallus.
