Tyto noeli (Noel's giant barn owl)
Taxonomy
Tyto noeli was named by Arredondo (1972). Its type specimen is DPUH 1251, a limb element (right tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cueva del Túnel, La Salud, which is in a Pleistocene/Holocene cave horizon in Cuba.
