Taxonomy
Dohrniphora calvata was named by Solórzano Kraemer and Brown (2018). Its type specimen is LACM ENT 153245, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (LACM coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
