Epipeltephilus caraguensis

Taxonomy
Epipeltephilus caraguensis was named by Montoya-Sanhueza et al. (2017). Its type specimen is SGO-PV 21102, an osteoderm, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2.5 km south of Caragua, which is in a Tortonian terrestrial sandstone in the Huaylas Formation of Chile.
