Cardiatherium calingastaense
Taxonomy
Cardiatherium calingastaense was named by Cerdeño et al. (2019). Its type specimen is INGEO-PV 87, a skull (skull with associated mandible, and some fragmentary postcranial remains of the same individual), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Right side of the Candelaria Creek, which is in a Huayquerian wet floodplain siltstone in the Las Floras Formation of Argentina.
