Kelletia posoensis
Taxonomy
Siphonalia posoensis was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 174 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 126, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Temblor Formation of California.
It was recombined as Kelletia (Kelletia) posoensis by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Siphonalia (Kelletia) posoensis by Ruth (1942); it was recombined as Kelletia posoensis by Addicott (1970).
